SPEECH PATHOLOGY
At HHATS our assessments can be both informal or structured depending on the developmental needs of the person and what will best inform ongoing intervention.
Treatment plans are individualised and work towards the parent/carer being the “therapist”.
We are skilled in a variety of therapeutic models including; Key Word Sign, PODD, trauma-informed practice, relationship-based intervention, ACT and Motivational Interviewing.
Our mobile speech pathology service offers flexible appointment options both at home and in the community. Telehealth services are also offered and can be a more efficient use of funding particularly when large amounts of travel or regular stakeholder liaison are required.

Dementia
Assistive Technology (AT)
Dysphagia (swallowing) and Mealtime Management
NATUROPATHY
We also offer Naturopathy to complement our range of services at HHATS.
Assessing both a person’s physical and emotional well-being is a critical part in achieving long-lasting outcomes. In order to do this we complete a detailed case history and can also utilise a range of pathology tests.
Treatment plans focus on boosting the body’s own ability to heal itself.
This may include dietary recommendations as well as the prescription of herbal medicines and nutritional compounds. Specific symptom management during acute illness may also be required.
Areas of focus include…
- Pregnancy and Birth
- Hormone Imbalance
- Mental Health
- Addiction
Mobile Therapy
Holistic Health and Therapy Services currently offers therapy at home or in other familiar settings. We find that we can offer more individualised and person-centred treatment outside of a clinic setting.
Mobile therapy services are also available when community-based visits may be necessary or in nursing homes and supported accommodation arrangements where travel may be difficult.
Referrals
Anyone can self refer directly to Holistic Health and Therapy Services.
We can also receive referrals from Supports Coordinators, GPs, ENT specialists, neurologists, audiologists, psychologists and dietitians.
Sometimes we may recommend a referral to a Medical Practitioner or allied health professional if we feel that this will improve therapeutic outcomes.
